			* {{Skill\|Shooter}} is very helpful, both for defending the [[Daedalus]], and for defending yourself if the {{Character\|Mush}} attack! Try to get your hands on a {{Item\|Blaster\|16}}.
			* {{Skill\|Logistics Expert}} is considered a must-pick, as it is very useful for boosting your teammates, regardless of your location.
			* {{Skill\|Strateguru}} might not seem great in the first few days, but it quickly becomes invaluable on long-term ships as the waves of Hunters grow larger and larger. Still, a diligent enough player may be able to outrun the hunters by consistently moving the ship, making this skill largely irrelevant.

			* Although being a {{Skill\|Pilot}} is very {{AP}}-intensive, it gives you a good reason to take a bed. You can also take the opportunity to use {{Skill\|Trapper}} to infect other pilots who use the launch bays.
