The retro-fungal serum is designed to eliminate the parthenogenesis mechanism in the B-strain of the Mush virus, and in doing so, give the host's body a chance to reject spores and therefore avoid further contamination.

The Retro-Fungal Serum is a unique item with the ability to cure a
Mush, reverting them to a regular human. Once used, it is consumed. Its ability to instantly neutralize any Mush (and to keep the crew from needing to kill them) makes it extremely powerful, and it should be kept safe to prevent a Mush from wasting it!

You start to vomit. You feel strange. As if your senses have been muted, as if you don't exist any more. You suddenly feel very alone. You feel anxious again that the end is nigh, you feel true fear again. You are no longer Mush...
(Private) targets another crewmate.

Mush, they are immediately transformed into a human, losing all Mush abilities.
- Their human skills are cleared and must be re-selected.
- Any
spores they were carrying are lost.[1]
- If the crewmate is human, the vaccine is consumed and has no effect.

Schrödinger has been infected, the Serum can be used to cure him.
- Curing Schrödinger has a 60% chance of failing if a crewmate other than
Raluca attempts it. Failure does not consume the serum and it can be re-attempted.
