Armure Armor is an important resource that represents the health of the Daedalus's hull.

  • The ship starts with Armure 100.
  • If Armure drops to 0, the ship explodes, killing everyone aboard and ending the game.

Gaining Armor

The Daedalus's armor can be repaired with Scrap Metal Scrap Metal for 1 Action Point.

  • A successful repair restores 5 Armure, or 10 Armure if the Oscilloscope Oscilloscope is used.
  • The base repair success rate is 25%. The success rate can be increased by carrying different items, as shown in the following table.

Although building the Oscilloscope Oscilloscope is fairly expensive (costing 1 Scrap Metal Scrap Metal, 1 Plastic Scraps Plastic Scraps, and 3 Action Point), the increased success rate and Armure gains make it well worth the price.

Plasma Shield

The plasma shield can be obtained by completing the requisite icon Plasma Shield NERON project. Once complete, it must be activated by the  NERON Admin. via enabling the relevant option in the BIOS.

  • When first activated, the Daedalus immediately gains 50 Shield.
  • Each cycle, the shield regenerates 5 Shield up to a maximum of 100 Shield.
  • As long as the shield has not dropped to 0 Shield, it will absorb damage that would otherwise affect the ship's Armure.

If the shield is deactivated (by  NERON Admin., with the Hacker Kit Hacker Kit, or with BypassBypass or NERON DepressionNERON Depression), it immediately disappears. Once reactivated, it regains the value it had before it was deactivated.

Sources of Damage

The Daedalus can receive damage from several different sources.

  • Will not occur if the crewmate performing the action has PilotPilot, or if icon XXL Bay Door has been completed.
