Morale Points
Your
Morale Points represent your character's mental state.
- Each character starts the game with 7
. - A character can gain a maximum of 14
. This can be reduced by certain Diseases and Disorders. - When your
drops to 0, your character will commit suicide during the next cycle change (unless they have the
Self-sacrifice skill). This can only be avoided by raising your
to at least 1 before the cycle change occurs. - The
of
Mush characters is always at its maximum and cannot be changed.

Low Morale
If your morale is low, you become:
Demoralized if your morale is less than or equal to 5 Template:Moral.
Suicidal if you have only 1
left.
Tips
- Staying at low morale should be avoided if possible, as you risk dying to an unexpected panic attack or a
Mush rampage that causes multiple deaths. - Communicate with
Janice, or a character with
Leader, if your morale is low. However, beware of being too open about having low morale, or an opportunistic
Mush could kill you with
Demoralize. - If you are
Mush:
- Other players may grow suspicious if they realize that you aren't having morale issues. You may want to keep track of how much
you should have at the time, and ask for "help" if that number dips low. - Exploit other characters' morale by going on a killing spree, especially by targeting characters like
Janice (to remove the crew's easiest morale source) and
Chun (due to the large morale loss caused by her death).
