Once per day, a rebel base will try to contact the Daedalus (starting from Mush selection). Decoding these bases will provide the ship with valuable bonuses.

  • NERON will announce the contact if a link with Sol is active at the time.
  • The contact remains active for 8-16 cycles,[1][2] or until the ship moves.[3] If the base is not fully decoded in that time, its bonuses are permanently forfeited.


Action Point or IT Point Rebel Base Network makes progress toward decoding the currently-active rebel base signal. Signal progress increases by 1-40 % with each attempt, based on the average of two randomly-generated numbers.[4][5]

  • Only the  Communications Officer can work on rebel bases.
  • An active link with Sol is required.
  • The % progress is visible to everyone who accesses the terminal.
  • At 100%, the base is successfully contacted and its bonus is immediately obtained.
  • The RebelRebel skill, and the "Contact established with Kivanç Terzi!" Xyloph DB entry, each provide a +100% de progress toward decoding rebel signals.

  • Damage caused by Patrollers is increased by one point.
