Scrapping

The Pasiphae, dedicated to collecting debris

Scrapping is the collection of Scrap Metal, Plastic Scraps, and other important loot. It is primarily obtained by using the Pasiphae (located in Alpha Bay 2) after destroying Hunters.

2 Collect Scrap after taking off in the Pasiphae. The option disappears once all available scrap is collected.

• The Pasiphae collects 1-3 scrap per use).
• If the Pasiphae has been destroyed or abandoned, it is also possible to collect scrap with Patrollers, albeit very inefficiently. Patrollers have a 25% chance of collecting scrap per use (with a 75% chance of collecting nothing).
• As with Patrollers, a pilot can eat (or use Phagocyte) to regain in-flight.
• Once you land, the collected debris is deposited on the shelf.
  • If you die in-flight, both the debris and your ship will be destroyed (unless Magnetic Net is completed).
• All debris remaining outside disappears permanently if the Daedalus moves.

Never collect scrap while are outside! Hunters will fire upon the Pasiphae each time the "collect scrap" action is used, doing between 2, 3 or 4 damage to the ship's , with a 50% chance of the pilot losing 2-4 . If the ship's armor or your health falls to zero in-flight, you will immediately die and your ship will be lost forever. Stay vigilant!

Scrapper Skill

Terrence can use his unique Scrapper skill to retrieve scrap from the ship's Storage rooms as a free action. Main article: Scrapper.
