"Don't be fooled by his appearance, Terrence is amongst the most agile crew members, albeit mentally. Next-generation robotics and UAVs are his bread and butter. "
Summary
As the undisputed master of
Drones, Terrence can contribute in many ways to the general maintenance of the Daedalus. His handicap necessitates good cooperation with the rest of the crew to increase his effectiveness.
| Seriously injured during an over-ambitious raid against the rebels on Sol, Terrence spent 6 months in a coma. He returns to civilian life broken and bruised, stuck in a wheelchair. Terrence decided to dedicate his life to advanced engineering and the creation of drones. His life's dream is to develop unmanned fighter craft and remote-controlled drones. | |

Tips
- Your disability makes it difficult for you to get around the ship by yourself. However, if you can convince your crewmates to help push you around (either by following you to your destination, or by standing in key rooms), you can actually move much more efficiently than anyone else. Coordinate with trusted people to give you a boost!
- You could also take the
Anti-Grav Scooter to negate your
Disabled trait, though its effects are somewhat wasted on you. - If the crew is lucky enough to get their hands on a
Sprinter
Mage Book, you shoudl naturally be a first choice to get it.
- You could also take the
- Use your
Robotics Expert skill to upgrade the Daedalus's drones to their full potential. They become an invaluable resource on long-running ships.
- Since drones move around on their own, it can be hard to track them down. Ask your crewmates to help you keep track of their locations.
- When not taking care of your drones, help relay Projects in Nexus, repair items around the ship, or collect scrap with the Pasiphae, depending on your chosen skills.
Skill Notes
Robotics Expert is Terrence's signature skill, allowing him to manage the ship's drones and upgrade them. This makes them much more effective at keeping the ship maintained. You're the only one who can benefit from this skill, unless the crew finds a relevant
Mage Book.
Technician is especially useful as the days pass and breakages increase. It pairs well with Robotics Expert, making it so both you and your drones can keep the ship maintained. It also allows you to repair PILGRED more efficiently.
Pilot allows you to support the ship by shooting down Hunters and launching expeditions. It's particularly useful when combined with Shooter, but you can take it by itself to enable you to collect scrap for your drones. Keep in mind that piloting consumes a lot of
, so you should get a bed.
Shooter is especially good when combined with Pilot, making you excel at killing Hunters. However, taking both skills will leave you with limited options for ship maintenance; thus, you may want to leave ship defense to
Roland if he's active and competent.
IT Expert will allow you to focus more on research and NERON projects than on repairing drones. It may not synergize well with Terrence's other skills, since several of them will consistently cause him to get
Dirty.
Scrapper can be a handy source of materials, as it lets you find
Scrap Metal without needing to use the Pasiphae. You can also occasionally find other things helpful to the ship's survival, including food, fuel, and oxygen. Pairs well with Robotics Expert.
Recommendations:
Robotics Expert /
Technician /
Pilot is one of the best options for keeping up the ship's general maintenance. You can upgrade drones, keep things repaired, and collect scrap with the Pasiphae.
Robotics Expert /
Technician /
Scrapper is a solid variant of this, allowing you to find scrap without needing to expend lots of
piloting the Pasiphae. It's best taken when the ship already has other Pilots capable of defending and collecting scrap.
Pilot /
Shooter will make you an excellent replacement for
Roland, should he be unavailable. Supplement it with a third skill of your choice, depending on what the ship needs most.
If Mush
Terrence's role aboard the ship makes multiple strategies available to him.
- Contamination:
Technician and
Scrapper will both make you dirty pretty frequently. Use this to justify extracting spores.- Your
Disabled status gives you good reasons to be in unsurveilled rooms with other people. Use this to your advantage and spike them with spores. - Use
Trapper on the bays to infect other pilots.
- Sabotage important equipment with
Saboteur or
Green Jelly. - Blocking:
Warning: These actions will be quickly noticed by the human crew and will make you public enemy number one! Choose the right moment to act.
Pilot lets you take off while holding essential items, denying them to the human team. If you take off in the Pasiphae with the
Medikit and the
Mush Genome Disc, you can easily remove them (and yourself) from play.
Technician allows you to dismantle important items like the
Mush Genome Disc.
