"Schrödinger is a pretty grumpy, but undeniably silky, cat.
A lovely cat, so soft and poised. When it miaows, it can hardly be heard, As its timbre is so soft and discreet."
This is Raluca's cat.

Schrödinger is Raluca's cat. He will appear in the Laboratory when Raluca decryogenises.

• Each time Schrödinger is picked up, he has a 20% chance to scratch you for -2 (unless you are Raluca).
• While in the Laboratory, he unlocks the NCC Lenses research project.

Caressing

Crewmates can 1  Caress Schrödinger if they are holding him. (Public)

• Caressing Schrödinger gives the crewmate 3 , once per game.
• Schrödinger has an additional 20% chance to scratch you for -2 when cuddled (unless you are Raluca).
• Finola cannot caress Schrödinger.

Mush characters can instead perform 1   and 1 Infectious Cuddles, which infects the cat with the Mush. (Invisible)

• After being infected, Schrödinger will give a to any subsequent human who he scratches.
  • It is possible to cure him with the Retro-Fungal Serum.

Finola can give Schrödinger Infectious Cuddles if she is a Mush, but performing this action will expose her to any attentive crew!

Movement

Each cycle, Schrödinger will try to move toward Raluca.

• If they are in a room together, he will stay there
• Otherwise, he will move toward her (70% chance) or randomly (30% chance).
• If Raluca has died, Schrödinger will stay put unless there are other people in the room during cycle change. If there are, he will move randomly (9%), toward a room without other players (70%), or will stay in place (21%).

Death

Schrödinger can die if he is attacked by the crew. The following actions may kill him:

• Attacking him with any ranged weapon.
• Throwing a Grenade while he is in the room.
• Taking him off the Daedalus via patrol ship, then abandoning the pilot.

If Schrödinger dies, Raluca will lose 4 and NERON will display a special message.

Trivia

• Picking up / dropping the cat is not revealed by Confident, Torturer, or Premonition, but caressing it is revealed.
• He can be bothered by Pavlov during the April Fools event.
