The Soap reduces the cost of showering for anyone holding it, making it useful for anyone who often gets Dirty.

Via Research, it can be upgraded to the Super Soaper, which removes Spores on any crewmate who showers with it.

This is a critical item, meaning humans are not allowed to take it on Patrollers or on Expeditions. If you attempt to do this, NERON will force you to drop the item on the shelf of the room you took off from. Additionally, the item will be dropped if the character holding it gains the Highly Inactive status.
