Xyloph DB

A completed set of Xyloph DB entries.

The Xyloph DB is a series of encrypted files accessed through the Comms Center. The  Communications Officer can contact the Xyloph-17 station to receive files from the database, several of which give the crew highly important items.

Xyloph Entries

There are 12 unique Xyloph entries, each of which provides different effects. Once all 12 entries are received, the Xyloph DB can no longer be used.

Zhong Chun's Genome Codex	Zhong Chun is the only human who has proved immune to the Mush infection, and the analysis of her genome is the key to developing and anti-Mush vaccine as well as several other pieces of research.	Adds Chun's "ghost" to the Research Lab interface. Research projects can be progressed as if Chun is always in the Laboratory.	13.6%

Genome Data	This disk contains a wealth of information on the Mush genome collected by Ian Soulton just before the departure of the Daedalus.	Spawns the Mush Genome Disc, a critical research item, in the Bridge.	13.6%
Finola's Lost Research	The anti-Mush research carried out by Finola was completed after the departure of the Daedalus. The findings were sent to the tabulatrix, and by reading them, you'll know the status of infection aboard the Daedalus from day 1!	Prints Finola's List from the Tabulatrix. Lore

Xyloph-17 is a space station that orbits Jupiter in the Sol system. It was home to the Magellan Project, a research and exploratory team that sought to escape the Mush by resettling humanity on Eden. After the Mush infiltrated the Federation, Xyloph-17 was raided by SDF troops. Only 16 rebels managed to escape aboard the Daedalus, making it the Project's last hope...

Timeline
3137	The Magellan Project is established on Xyloph-17 by Kuan Ti with funding from billionaire Gioele.
3143	Raluca begins to develop PILGRED, a reactor capable of sending an Ark to the Magellan Nebula.
3146	Veteran explorer Jin Su takes the lead at Xyloph, convincing the Federation's president to fund the project. The Icarus is developed by ChangMei-Tech, which sponsors Hua and her team.
3148	The PILGRED prototype is destroyed by NERON, revealing the AI's growing sentience.
3149	Following public recognition of the Mush threat, Dr. Nils Carlsson sends Chun to Xyloph-17.
3150	Janice joins the Magellan Project to study and improve NERON's performance.
3151	Frieda is invited to help locate Eden within the nebula, joining as the ship's navigator.
3152	After escaping the SDF, Eleesha reveals to the Xyloph team that the Federation has been deeply compromised by Mush. Realizing there is no time to finish the Ark, the team secretly begins to build the Daedalus. Ian, Paola, Roland, and Terrence join the team.
3153	A mission is conducted to kidnap biologist Finola and bring her to Xyloph. Stephen is placed in detention after posing as a scientist. Jin Su is relieved of his duties after a breakdown in communication with the Federation.
3154	Jin Su's Federation-appointed replacement, Baranov, is discovered to be Mush and assassinated. The SDF attempts to invade Xyloph, but they are slowed by NERON. Sixteen crewmembers manage to evacuate on the Daedalus, entering cryosleep as they hurtle toward the Magellan Nebula.
