A portion of protein-enriched molasses agglomerate in a galactic long-life tray. These rations are scientifically designed to be easy to digest via the traditional route, but can also be injected intraveinously.
Standard Rations are the crew's main source of sustenance. They are Imperishable, and thus they do not spoil (unlike a 
Cooked Ration).
Cooking
- Standard Rations can be cooked in the Refectory for 1 or 1
(see 
Chef), turning it into a Cooked Ration. - The
Microwave allows you to Express Cook rations for free. However, doing so may disrupt Communications with Sol.
