TODO: Missing character tooltip box
"Our last hope. She must survive and make the journey to Eden. She inspires the crew to achieve more, and when misfortune befalls her comrades she is always there to patch them up."
Summary
Chun is the only character who is completely immune to Mush infection. Because she is always guaranteed to be human, she is the most trustworthy person aboard the ship, and she naturally becomes a central member of the investigation team.
Her presence is required in the Laboratory for several key Research projects (until Communications is advanced), and her immunity allows her to move freely around the ship without suspicion. However, her importance also makes her a primary target for trigger-happy Mush...
| As the only surviving member of the Tamina medical team, Chun was forced to board the Daedalus to be subjected to numerous tests. Cryogenically frozen by the Federation for over 9 years to ensure her silence, then harassed by journalists, Chun has never known an ordinary life. However, as the key to the survival of the human race, Zhong Chun must survive at all costs. | |

Statuses
Immunized: cannot be infected by the
Mush. Any spore consumed by Chun (through infected rations, spore traps, etc.) will be destroyed.
Mankind's Only Hope: daily morale loss is reduced by 1

instead of 1.

Tips
- Help your teammates by participating in Research. Remember to stay in the laboratory to progress important researches until comms has unlocked Chun's Genome Codex.
- You always start as a human, and the Mush cannot convert you. Coordinate closely with investigators (like
Eleesha and
Chao /
Derek) and confirmed humans to cross-reference their information. - Pick up or hide dangerous items (like the Knife, Grenade, Plastenite Armor, and Hacker Kit) to prevent the Mush from using them. Ideally, you should be the only one who knows their locations. Use the in-game Notepad to mark down where you've hidden things.
- Always keep a private channel free for your crewmates to report important information to you.
- You're likely to be targeted by the
Mush due to your important role. Try to avoid being murdered by wearing the Plastenite Armor, or by using
Ian's
Pacifist or
Chao's
Bodyguard for protection.
Skill Notes
Maintenance Crew is in beta-testing, so please provide feedback on the forum or the Eternaltwin discord.
Nurse is useful for treating yourself (and others) in the event of an accident. It becomes especially valuable during expeditions or in day 10+ ships, when crewmates are likely to get repeatedly hurt.
Premonition is far outclassed by its cousins,
Torturer and
Confident. However, it can still be useful with good timing (such as by scanning crewmates who enter the dorms to see if they've attempted a sneaky shower).
Sneak can help save your life if you're attacked. However, being able to avoid Guardians is not very useful, as Guarding is rarely used, especially by Mush.
Lethargy is extremely powerful, so long as you're able to rest long enough to make good use of it. With a maximum of 24
, nothing on the ship will be out of your reach.
