The improvement is multiplicative, corresponding to a factor of 1.2. For example, a Repair action with a 50% chance of success:
- The chance of injury remains at 4%: 4 * 1.2 = 4.8, which is rounded down to 4%.
- The chance of getting dirty increases to 24%: 20 * 1.2 = 24%.
- The chance of success increases to 60%: 50 * 1.2 = 60%.
However, this multiplicative effect also applies to actions where success is already guaranteed. Taking, for example, the Build action:
- The chance of injury increases to 6%: 5 * 1.2 = 6%.
- The chance of getting dirty increases to 30%: 25 * 1.2 = 30%.
- Success is already guaranteed, so no additional benefit is gained.
