- Cannot be used if lost
- Can be used while landing on a planet
- If it is used to escape a risky area, and then an expedition is launched back to the same planet, the avoided stage will again be mixed in with the other remaining sections
- If the planet is not fully analyzed at the Astro Terminal - you will be able to see the next sector but not the others (which have therefore not been scanned)
