Tips
- By default, you start as the
Commander of the Daedalus. This is a pretty demanding role because your crew relies on you to move the ship using the Command Terminal. Prolonged inactivity can be fatal! Be certain that you can be frequently available, and let the crew know if you'll need to go offline.

when accepted. Coordinate with your teammates to figure out who needs that AP the most. Try not to use it too early in the day, and make sure you give it to someone you trust (with
Chun being a safe choice). - You will be expected to attend Expeditions until the mush hunt ends; if you don't go, a sneaky
Mush could
Transfer into your body, then move the ship to kill everyone on the planet. Make sure the
Hacker Kit is accounted for and hidden before you leave, or you could end up meeting the same fate!

Paola's
Logistics Expert bonus. Try not to steal it from them! - If you've taken
Leader, schedule speeches in specified rooms so as many people can benefit as possible.
Skill Notes
Leader is generally appreciated by the crew, especially if
Janice isn't able to do her job. Just make sure that you have some way to get morale yourself...
Pilot allows you to help defend the ship, and is very useful for launching expeditions (which you will be expected to attend anyway). Very useful when combined with Shooter. Remember that piloting consumes a lot of
, so you should take a bed in the dorms if you have this skill.
Cold Blooded is rarely used, for good reason.
Mush players can't benefit from it, and the bonus isn't especially good for human ones; you might as well just go eat a ration.
Shooter is very helpful, both for defending the Daedalus, and for defending yourself if the
Mush attack! Try to get your hands on a
Blaster.
Logistics Expert is considered a must-pick, as it is very useful for boosting your teammates, regardless of your location.
Strateguru might not seem great in the first few days, but it quickly becomes invaluable on long-term ships as the waves of Hunters grow larger and larger. Still, a diligent enough player may be able to outrun the hunters by consistently moving the ship, making this skill largely irrelevant.
